But everyone knows his cars are the worst out there and the fact he has even managed to occassionally get them even somewhat competitive is a testament to his experience and actual ability. Biffle snakebit again. He would've won this race; obvious at the end he had slowed to try to make it on fuel, realizing that his precarious points position was more important than recording another win. He has had absolutely no luck this year. Nice to see Bobby Labonte grab a top ten finish. 4. mk17ce99 posted: 04.23.2006 - 4:39 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) Biffle is experiencing the same luck Matt Kenseth had last year. Can't catch a break to save his ass. Oh well, I guess thats the luck you get when you win 6 races and finish second in points the year before... 5. Joe posted: 04.26.2006 - 7:05 pm Rate this comment: (0) (1) I think Morgan Sheperd should not attempt to qualify for any Nextel Cup races. He rarely makes the race, and if he does, he runs poorly. I hear people say he does it for the love of racing, but what's so great about running 38th, 5 laps down? His days as a competitive racer on the Nextel Cup level are finished, regardless of how good his car. No offense to him, but Nascar should not have 43 cars per race. That's too many. I'd rather see 25 or 30 cars that can actually win, instead of the extra filler. 12. Joe posted: 04.29.2006 - 4:23 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) Actually, just about 100% of Dale Earnhardt's fans were fans of Dale Earnhardt Jr., prior to Dale Earnhardt's death. After Dale Earnhardt died, the majority of his fans chose Dale Earnhardt Jr. as their favorite living driver. It makes sense. As for Morgan Shepherd, check out his website. He's a good Christian man. 14. dalejrfan14 posted: 05.19.2006 - 8:00 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) 90% or more of Dale Earnhardt's fans became fans of Dale Earnhardt Jr. upon the death of Dale Earnhardt. Interesting thing about this race; did anyone else hear Jeanne Zelasko say "I have a good mind to find you." after the Mikey interview? I sure did. 18. He was fired after failing to qualify for the Aaron's 499 one week later, and returned to full-time competition in the Busch Series. 22. Steve posted: 01.05.2008 - 6:00 am Rate this comment: (0) (0) Brent Sherman was promoted to Cup way too early. A few years of ARCA through 2004, an abbreviated Busch rookie year in 2005 (including a loss of a ride), and then on to Cup with BAM Racing (who had only finished well with "road runners" and occasionally Ken Schrader). He probably shouldn't be in Cup anyway; he was mostly a "moving chicane". 23. Mr. Big posted: 05.27.2008 - 1:22 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) What happened to Biffle? The outcome of the race remained unchanged from the norm of Kurt's early 2006 season as he started fast before running into trouble once again. Kurt was in the middle of a stretch in which he finished lower than where he started in 12 of the first 13 races, with the lone outlier being his dramatic Bristol win with his famous "snow angel" celebration. 35.
