I'm thinking Atlanta, 1998, Gordon stuck Morgan Shephard into the wall, pretty much killed the #8 Stavola Brothers chances of keeping their race shop doors open. I'm thinking I'll call Rusty and ask him how many times Gordon bumped him outta the way at Bristol. Oh yeah, what was it that Earnhardt called it when he bumped T. Labonte, rattlin' his cage? Seems to me that Hendrick outta stick to policing his crew chiefs in putting legal cars on the track. Have the team leaders teach the drivers how to hang on to a car. Oh, one more time, Pocono, second race 1999, I think. Gordon turned Jarrett, Jarrett "met" Gordon after the race and told him, "you wanna dish it out, be prepared to get it back." Seen Gordon mess with Jarrett since then. Wonder Whiner has lost his veil of Wonder. The 24 seat is a pressure cooker and it seems to me that Jeffy can't handle it when payback comes and bites him in his diaper. WaaaaaaH! 6. Thomas posted: 03.27.2006 - 7:25 pm Rate this comment: (0) (5) It was not only difficult to enjoy this race because of what happened in Homestead, but also due to the fact that some of world's biggest punk ass bitches drive in NASCAR for a living. I'm referring to first of all, Kurt Busch. Two years ago, I hated anyone who said anything bad about Kurt because he used to be my racing hero and I could sympathize with his situation. But when he hung Jack Roush out to dry in mid-2005, two years before his contract was up, I lost most all respect I had for him. And at Bristol, he backs it up by taking out his former teammate (and possibly former friend, Matt Kenseth.) By the way, why does Jesus Christ hate Matt so much that he will do anything to deny him victory. Larry McReynolds' dumb ass comment after the race sums up his idiocy: "Kurt just had a faster car and it was in the last ten laps." If Kurt was so damn fast, why couldn't he win on his own. It's the Earnhardt, Sr. syndrome all over again. Second of all, Kevin Harvick, is and will always be a whiny piece of shit. He proved this in Friday's press conference when he bitched unprovokedly about Kurt Busch for no apparent reason. Finally, and most of all, Jeff Gordon. Need I say more. Jeff Gordon is living proof that you can put just about any adulterous, two timing queer, worthless pile of jealous and vile rodent crap in a car and tell him to drive. He ought to be sat out next week at Martinsville for pushing Matt Kenseth like a little bitchy girl on pit road. Matt Kenseth was just trying to explain what happened like a man, and that loser just pushes him. Matt's post-race interview shows that he is a very classy guy and a true gentleman at that. Oh, and by the way, I guess it was OK for Gordon to inexplicably 7. Thomas posted: 03.27.2006 - 7:26 pm Rate this comment: (0) (2) Don, you are a genius! 8. Darrell posted: 03.27.2006 - 10:27 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) I don't believe Kenseth for a minute. Maybe I didn't see enough angles, but it sure didn't look like he was going to apologize to Gordon. I think Biffle's starting to rub off on him. And Brent Sherman, please, please go back to the Busch Series. You're gonna hurst someone. 11. Steve posted: 03.27.2006 - 10:51 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) Thomas, grow up. Dalejrfan14, it was one of the crew members on the 1 car that said 'shit', not Martin Truex Jr. I wouldn't have been surprised if he did, considering he'd just got gotten wrecked again (by some idiot named Gordon). I would have liked to see Matt Kenseth carry the number 17 (the number that the late Paul Dana was going to race today in Homestead) to Victory Lane. Though he bumped Matt out of the way, congrats to Kurt Busch for making it a Busch-Bristol weekend sweep. I also congratulate Dan Wheldon. I know he's not in NA$CAR, but after just winning the Toyota Indy 300, he thanked his crew for their effort but told them to not celebrate, in light of what happened that morning. I don't know about you guys, but I'm an all-around race fan, and when a driver, especially one who I've heard of and seen race, dies, on or off the track, it's really an impact, and what Dan did shows that he is a true champion. While I'm on the IRL subject, I think Rusty Wallace did a great job in his first race broadcast. I'll be looking forward to July 2007 in Pocono, when he calls a Nextel Cup race for the first time, and for ESPN. They're back! 12. Boo-hoo for the angry millionaires, you might be right. The last 20 laps of that IRL race should be used as a training video for non-racing fans. Adam, you're right too. Ya Bristol is hard to pass, ya other cars are going slower, no it doesn't mean that we have to watch 18 caution periods for a 100 laps of boring commercials because the drivers feel the neep to be lazy and just hit the guy if front of them to get by. Have some integrity and race hard, not just nail the guy to get him out of the way. I like to see close finishes like in Martinsville years ago right at the line, not morons who think that they have the right because their cars are faster just to move people. If the 88 is on the lead lap, race him, if you're faster you'll get by. Anyways, the most exciting part of the race was seeing the 21 passing the leaders for the lap back, with the lucky dog you just don't see that anymore. Just my 2 cents. 23. When I see a long paragraph of insult after insult, I tend to skip it and read the next person's comment. I realize that you're entitled to your opinion, and that Jeff has been with several different women since his divorce, but I think terms like "idiot" or "moron", or even "asshole" would show that you don't like someone. Nice job Bobby Labonte. It looks like this team is finally finding a rhythm. If he hadn't have had engine troubles at Atlanta, he would've been a contender to win. He looked decent at Daytona as well. I'm not marking out for Bobby Labonte, but its refreshing to see him doing well in spite of the bitching and backbites from the others. Good job by Mark Martin as well. I have a feeling Labonte and Martin sat and had a cool gatorade or coke after the race and laughed at everyone else who were jawjackin. It would be great to see Schrader and Labonte battle out Martinsville and have the 21 and 43 up front again. 33. The August race would see drivers run more conservative as they began to figure out the Chase system, the 07 race would see the COT introduced creating an otherwise forgettable afternoon, and then of course the death blow, the reconfiguration of the track. It can be fixed though, the races leading up to the Chase are more about winning now with the Wild Cards and points from wins carrying over into the Chase, the COT is as racy as ever, and now all they need to do is put the track back. I still believe they will, and if they do, the old Bristol that was so loved can return once again. 45.
