He took the point lead following the 600. 5. myself posted: 03.15.2007 - 4:01 pm Rate this comment: (0) (1) Hardly, Jake....HARDLY. There've been many more dominating performances than this one. Just reference how many times a driver has won a race & led every lap. I'd say those are better demonstrations of domination! 6. Martin actually got beside Dale a few times, but couldn't do anything with the black and beautiful Chevrolet 7. hyltonfan08 posted: 01.13.2009 - 4:36 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) First career cup start for long time ARCA privateer Norm Benning. 8. He's the same person who falsely claimed Davey Allison was less than 100 points behind Earnhardt at the time of his death in 1993. The truth was Davey Allison 323 points away from Earnhardt in 5th place at the time he died. 15. Here he avenged that misfortune by again winning a pole at the Monster Mile but going on to lead a couple laps and matching his career-best finish 16. saltsburgtrojanfan posted: 05.12.2016 - 3:52 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) Caution 1: #75 accident turn 3 Caution 2: #28 engine Caution 3: #80 engine Caution 4: #2 spun turn 2 Caution 5: #2 spun frontstretch Caution 6: #30 accident turn 3 17. Pits were opened when pace car brought the pack past for the 1st time. 19. mtblillie posted: 06.19.2018 - 12:39 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) @Sébastien Marcis drove a Lumina at the Talladega race where they were introduced. I'm not sure if he ran Lumina's anwhere else though. 20. Took over Buddy Baker and Danny Schiff's #88 Crisco ride from Greg Sacks for the remainder of the season starting with this race. Except for the Sonoma race when Joe Ruttman drove it. Bill Flowers didn't make a Nascar start in any division besides this one start at Dover in Winston Cup. Imagine the excitement, then the engine blows after 2 laps and your Nascar career is over. 22.
