Bill said the crash in this race taught him a lot about Darlington, he
won both there in 1985 after "about taking the wall down" in this one.

Had the race been one less lap it'd have come in at exactly 500 miles.
Why was it 367?

I and Michigan II), Owner was Tom Heveron, and car was a Chevrolet

Louie Littlepage drove a #35, sponsor was McGeorge Camping Center, Owner
was Wayne Beahr, and car was a Ford (Same at Richmond II)

H. B. Bailey just about knocked the frontstretch wall in this one, he
ripped nearly the entire front end off his #36 and got all 4 wheels off
the ground when he impacted the inside wall.

Buddy Arrington was in a Dodge Mirada not the Chrysler. This is
confirmed by several newspapers and checking YouTube footage. It was
very easy since he was starting last.

to Clark Dwyer for race day.
