Why was Henley Gray listed as Buddy Baker's car owner for this race?
(same car number and crew chief as his Hoss Ellington ride)

Could have been a one-off where the sponsor/number combo came as part of
the deal. See the longer-term Richard Petty/Mike Curb or Tabasco #35
1998 deals from later on.

Hoss Ellington's team was not scheduled to compete in Martinsville, but
Baker, given his success in Martinsville, arranged (with the help of
Clay Earles and financial support of local businesses) a one-race deal
with Henley Gray.

The long awaited maiden victory for Harry Gant, after having scored ten
runner-up finishes before. Only James Hylton had had more runner-up
finishes before his first victory (twelve).
