Bobby Isaac claims a dominant win in the K&K Insurance #71, lapping the
field as the Cup series races at Maryland's Beltsville Speedway for the
final time. This was Isaac's third win in four years on this short
track. James Hylton picked up his third career pole, and first in just
under three years, and turned into in a solid run en route to a
runner-up finish.

Richard Petty & his #43 would skip this race due to injuries sustained
in the previous round at Darlington.
