It was great finding your site and info about this race at our track.
I have seen a copy of the starting sheet just once and could not recall
all the drivers. This was one of Richard Petty's 200. The Huntsville
Speedway was also a starting point for The Alabama Gang Bobby, Donnie,
Davey, Clifford, Red Farmer, Neil Bonnett, Jimmy "Smut" Means, Steve
Grissom, Hut Strickland, Mike Alexander, Darrell Waltrip, Coo Coo and
Sterlin Marlin and many others.
Too bad they don't run on 1/4 Miles tracks anymore. Keep up the great
work! This is an incredable resource for race fans young and old!

The only cup race at my home town track. They did hold a grand american
race here in 1969
