First win for Terry Cook in almost 4 years. Also, Marcos Ambrose had an
amazing third place finish in only his ninth race on an oval.

Kelly Sutton was injured in a hard crash into the inside wall on the
back stretch. The crash caused quite the brush fire on the infield
grass. The race was red flagged for 9 and a half minutes to extricate
Sutton from the truck.

First win for Terry Cook since August 2002 at IRP. Marcos Ambrose
finishes third on an oval track! Brendan Gaughan's lousy year and a half
since returning to the Trucks has another rare bright spot (4th;
unfortunalely such finishes are rare for him), David Ragan again
improves his best career finish (6th), and Chad McCumbee has another
solid finish (13th).

I thought The Hans device finally had it first device looking at that
Kelly hit head-on, She was lucky to survive with a few injuries

I was at Daytona for the Nextel Cup Pepsi 400 this day when they
announced Terry Cook had won the truck race on the intercom and I was
jumping up and down I was happy to hear that.

Except for Nextel Cup interlopers Kyle Busch and Clint Bowyer, Terry
Cook (at age 38) was the youngest winner in the Craftsman Truck Series
in 2006. The best days for the Trucks were when the old(-er) guys were
showing the kids how it's done.
