A bit strange. 9. Bramblegrunt posted: 06.14.2018 - 1:29 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) Lots of tempers as is traditional at Richmond. Jimmy Spencer got turned from 2nd place when he was debuting his truck career with Jimmy Smith. He was upset because it was 2 lapped trucks of Crafton and Cook who made contact and slid up into him after a restart. The end race altercation with Gaughan and Hamilton was quite bizarre. The checkers flew and Hamilton went right into the right rear corner of Gaughan and turned him into the wall. Gaughan didnt say much about it, just said it cost them a really great truck. Hamilton was a bit coy about it saying that Gaughan would usually be on the high line and he wasnt expecting him on the low line and to "Ask [Gaughan] Im sure hes got plenty of words". But there was no altercation between them, and it seemed to be relatively understood between the 2. Must have been something else that happened on track that made them call it even after this. Meanwhile the battle for the win was quite exciting. Pressley had to come from the back after not getting the truck full of fuel and was catching Stewart in the closing laps. He nearly could put the bumper on Stewart on the white flag lap in turn 1 and 2 but he kept it clean. Stewart had a great turn 3 and 4 and powered off to the win Mark McFarland brought the 07 to a top 12 finish in his debut. Johnny Sauter gets his first career top 10 in the truck series. Jason York makes his final Truck start and finishes top 20 10. Danish_Pie posted: 06.06.2020 - 3:15 am Rate this comment: (0) (0) Robert Pressley's gets back-to-back runner-ups coming from Bristol. Matching both his owner's career best, as well as the #59's best result in the series, which hasn't been eclipsed to date. This would be his final top 5 in the series. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ *Post a comment:* Your comment may not appear immediately - all comments must be approved by the moderator.
