Cause this was pre-Toyota. Once Toyota got involved it got more spaced
out in my opinion.

Off-topic news: 5 days before this event, Atlanta Thrashers Center Dan
Snyder was killed in a car accident. The other passenger, his teammate
Dany Heatley, survived the crash.

Former ARCA racer Willie Green makes his lone NASCAR Truck series start,
starting and finishing last after a retirement on the first lap. The #83
Ford was originally to be driven by Capital City Motorsports owner Greg
Sarff, in what would have been his only Truck series start, but Sarff
injured his hand in the weeks leading up to this race and had to sit
this one out.
