If not precisely equal, at least we get rid of all those Kyle Busch-wannabees who just need to dominate -- and bore the hell out of -- a minor league series, while NASCAR and the broadcast schmucks pretend that it's the best of all possible worlds. On the truck side, it could be a better show if Keselowski and Silver Spoon Dillon don't stink it up, but one or both probably will. 5. I'm not saying NASCAR is making it up just to give Ben the pole, But it really shouldn't take 2 hours to figure out if a truck crossed the line before the clock ran out lol. I mean all you have to do is get a still shot of Brad's truck when the clock hit zero. If it was really that close they should have checked it when it happened. If he keeps this up for the rest of the year, there's no excuse for him not to be in the #17 Cup car next year (unless Stenhouse improves DRASTICALLY, but I don't see that happening). In fact, the Roush organization as a whole seems to have successfully carried over their momentum from Daytona. Bubba and Reed are both running top 13 as well, and Sadler was up there before whatever it was that happened to him. Looks like they are really returning to form in this series. All three of those young guys should be in for breakout years this year, and Sadler should be back to being a lot more competitive than he has been at JGR for the past two years. 45. However, as usual, its great seeing everyone slide around on the track and have to really handle their cars. For me, that element made up for most of the quiet action up front. I just still hate those mystery cautions. I mean, I actually would not mind seeing just 6 cars finishing on the lead lap. But I guess that would make NASCAR look too bad or something. Overall, okay race. I'm really looking forward to the trucks tonight!!! Even though the trucks are low on numbers these days, I feel like the top 12-14 trucks are tighter on competition than the top 12-14 Xfinity cars are. 69.
