Instead of the usual Pontiac, the Bill Davis team ran a Dodge Intrepid borrowed from Tommy Baldwin's team. The Dodge was the very same one that David Green sat on the outside pole and lead the opening laps of the Feb. Daytona race with earilier in the year. 8. jp posted: 09.04.2009 - 6:51 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) Kahne got some wicked air, if i'm not mistaken 9. Pontiacs were ran because the make was a better fit in the draft. Nemechek just ran the bottom the whole way and got the win, and he was able to hold on for the win. 10. Early in the race only luck kept him from wrecking Biffle after he slid up out of turn four. He finally wrecked Bodine in 2 after almost turning Jo.Sauter, then tried to pin the blame on Todd for "kepping on sideswiping" him... The replay showed the only contact was made when Sprat slid up (again) and wrecked Todd. "It's not Martinsville, it's Daytona" Your own words, you washed-up douche. 13. The reigning NASCAR Truck Series champion came into this race leading the standings by 46 points over Greg Biffle and 75 over Jason Keller only to leave in third place after his DNF here. Biffle used his runner-up finish to vault into the points lead and he'd hold the top spot throughout the second half of the year on the way to winning the series championship. Keller would also maintain the second-place spot in the points throughout the rest of the year. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ *Post a comment:* Your comment may not appear immediately - all comments must be approved by the moderator.
