Rich Vogler runs his only career race. He died the night before he was
supposed to run his first Winston Cup race in 1990.

Mark's first Busch win with a number six and a number 0 on the door of
his car. This was his only win with #06, he'd find much more success
after reversing it to #60...

This would be the first win for Mark Martin with a 6 on his door (albeit
it with a 0 in front of it), his first Cup win with that number wouldn't
come until the next year.

Rich Vogler's car owner was Bruce Lawmaster and this was his #31 Ford
team's last race. Lawmaster had fielded the car all year for Mark Martin
in 1987 and Mark's success in his car helped relaunch Mark's career

as of the start of the 2012 season, of the 43 drivers who started this
race, only 2 are still competing full-time in one of nascar's top 3
series-bobby labonte and morgan shepherd.

Hillin recived 160 points for this race; he was 21st in standings for
the year with 2105 points (per ESPN's standings).
