Some of the cautions in this race:
-Lap 1: Oil on track, maybe because of Mike Alexander blowing the
transmission on the start.
-Brett Bodine spins coming off turn 2, Rick Mast slowed to avoid him and
got rear-ended pretty hard by a couple of cars
-Mike Alexander spun coming off of turn 2 after Jack Ingram checked up
in front of him
-Rodney Howard slammed the concrete off 2 and Kenny Burks flat out runs
him over.
-Brett Bodine wrecks again, this time going through turns 3 &4
-Geoff Bodine and Larry Pollard wipe out HARD going into turn 1. Neither
driver injured

Comment No. 1 is correct. Shepherd's car number is 7. I just watched
video of the race, and if you don't believe me, here's the link:

Shepherd's car is clearly No. 7.

ESPN broadcast this race. Bob Jenkins and Benny Parsons were in the
booth with Jack Arute in the pits.

Buschwackers in this one included Morgan Shepherd, Dale Earnhardt,
Darrell Waltrip, and Geoffrey Bodine. They were the only drivers to lead
laps that day.

Morgan Shepherd wins his third straight NASCAR national touring series
race, having won the last Cup race at Atlanta, and the last Busch Series
race at Martinsville.
