Rick Carelli came into this race with all the hype as he sought his
fourth-straight win but Ron Hornaday, Jr. would crash the party.
Hornaday qualified on the front row and led flag to flag to bag his
first win of the year on the ultra flat Saugus Speedway oval while
Carelli qualified mid-pack and had to settle for fifth after moving up
through the field.

Glen Cummings makes his first start of the season and finishes third
after starting there, scoring his only top-5 finish of the year. It was
his third and last top-5 in this series.
