Jody Ridley records the first of his 12 All-Pro victories in the series'
second ever race. Ridley's win was the first in the series for a Ford
driver.

This was the series' first race at Myrtle Beach Speedway, a Busch series
staple at the time. Myrtle Beach's short track remained a series staple
through 2004.
