Morgan, the 2012 champion. 2. jamie88fan@yahoo.com posted: 11.06.2012 - 6:33 pm Rate this comment: (0) (3) Has this series have more then 10 cars start this year all ... 3. The series is supposedly switching to cheaper more late model-like cars for next year. 5. While on the topic then what are the new changes I've heard about on the pages for previous races they think will help with the car counts for next year? 7. If I remember correctly, there are more than enough cars around to fill fields, so the type of car shouldn't be the issue. I'm not sure what the problem is, but the type of race car being used isn't it. Good luck in the future to what once was a booming series. 8. They are as heavy as an ARCA car (Pro Cup even let Fast Track use their ARCA cars in 2011). This is why the car counts are so low, so expect higher car counts in 2013 when they switch to the new cars. 9. He's been at the racing game for a long time, doing it with not a lot of extra cash for his family team, and is a very deserving driver and champion. (Not everyone has to be a Cup superstar to have an accomplished and respectable career.) 10. 10andJoe posted: 11.08.2012 - 11:55 am Rate this comment: (1) (0) One thing they need to do if they want better car counts is to up the purse at least a /smidge/... I'm torn about the idea of switching to more Late Model-ish cars. On the one hand, if it helps the series survive, that's good; on the other hand, Pro Cup has long been the 'lowest tier' "real" stock-car series. (And on the gripping hand, Pro Cup actually started life as Humpy Wheeler's old and ill-fated Sportsman Series back in the late 1980s, so it's already been "downsized" once, although for VERY good reason...) ------------------------------------------------------------------------ *Post a comment:* Your comment may not appear immediately - all comments must be approved by the moderator.
