This was the first major race held at North Wilkesboro since the track
was dropped from the Cup schedule after 1996. Great to see it back!

Chase Elliott had an illigal engine in this race according to a local
track-worker. Cannot be verified.

they also ran a modified race that day
Jason Myers of Bowman Gray Stadium fame won the race.
cannot recall how many laps.

Still the only ProCup race at North Wilkesboro. To date, the
higher-level series have not been back to this track since.

It's interesting that Chase Elliott raced here, along with Alex Bowman.
At least there will be some racers out there who drove here for many
years to come.
