well it looks like this was the last time we see the Pro Series at Iowa
/ hopefully something will happen when ARCA & them come together

Not to be that guy, but it is sad to see how this race used to draw a
full 43 entries even five years ago, and a 34 car field two years ago,
but they only get a 20 car field for this year's race. The switch to the
more Gen6-like bodies really hurt the field, I feel and the same
happened in ARCA. It's no wonder why all three series are gonna be
coming together in the near future.

Outside of the west series races it looks like Deegan will need at least
a couple more years before she's gets put in a truck i want her to
succeed i really hope the hype machine doesn't rush her up the ranks
because she needs time.

Deegan is not likely going to the big time on talent. I was at Iowa and
not overly impressed. Ability consistent with an average driver at best.
Too much hype.

@5 - I think a realistic hope for Deegan is that, someday, she becomes
the first female driver to win a Cup race. Like you, I have noticed in
the races she's done in the East Series that her talent may not be quite
as good as she has been hyped up to be. Still, she will get
opportunities, and I think she has enough talent to become a Cup winner,
even if she only gets one win or only wins a few times.

In my opinion it is pretty damning that the top 10 consisted largely of
East series drivers. It seems to me that the East has a deeper talent
pool than the West.

Pretty sure that's been the case for a considerable while, unless
there's been a particular season recently that I'm forgetting about.
