Return after a one year hiatus at Irwindale. A great short track. A 150 laps race divided in two segments of 75 laps. First race since the 2011 exhibition Toyota All-Star Showdown for Cole Cabrera (Jefferson Pitts Racing). First career race for Dylan Garner (in a fourth BMR Toyota). First West race for Tanner Gray after his debuts in K&N East at new Smyrna. Tanner Gray and Trevor Huddleston were side by side at the line, and Huddleston crashed after the finish Clearly this means NASCAR needs more 1.5 mile tracks 4. Deegan looked to have the fastest car in the second half but used up her stuff and drifted back behind Jagger Jones inside of 10 to go. Kraus was in position to win but once he let Huddleston by he started to drop like a rock and had to settle for a distant third. Gray made a great run to get to Huddleston and nearly won in a photo finish. He adapted to the track very quickly, which is interesting because he was a non-factor in his other two full-bodied races this year (K&N East at New Smyrna and ARCA at Five Flags). A feel-good win for Trevor Huddleston for sure. His dad is the promoter at Irwindale and was on the mic with the Fanschoice.tv team for the live broadcast. 8. I always used to enjoy watching the Toyota All-Star Showdown that was held there for a number of years. 9. ScottB posted: 04.02.2019 - 12:00 am Rate this comment: (1) (0) Maybe someday, but I don't think they'll combine East and West in 2020. The regional split and short seasons help keep the cost of competing down. 20 car fields are OK on the short tracks. If it dips below that too often, NASCAR will have to look at ways to boost the count. I'm also curious to see what the long range plan for ARCA is. At one point it was a Midwest based series, it could return to being essentially a K and N Central division now that it's a NASCAR property. 11. Bummer. Looking at the rest of the TV schedule that was announced earlier this year, there's a few other questionable time slots that could change or be pulled depending on the NHL playoff schedule. Especially the Wed/Thurs 7PM start times. 15. RaceFanX posted: 04.04.2019 - 8:52 am Rate this comment: (1) (0) Well hopefully they'll still air in some way, put them on the app or run them at a later time. That sort of thing. If they were filmed I doubt they would just cast them aside. 16. eklund posted: 04.04.2019 - 9:31 am Rate this comment: (0) (0) I'm pretty sure you will be able to find the replay on YouTube from fanschoice 17. However, the infield I don't believe is large enough to accommodate 38 XFINITY cars, maybe 32 trucks though 18. 48johnsonfan posted: 04.09.2019 - 1:56 pm Rate this comment: (1) (0) This race has recently aired on NBCSN on April 8th...
