The average age of Bill McAnallys three drivers, Deegan, Kraus and Rouse
is 17.33. Add in their new teammate, 90 year old badass Hershel McGriff,
and the avg. jumps to 35.5 years, almost a 20 year jump. But I think ol
Hershel will show the young kids how it's done Saturday.

Happy to see Cassie set to return after a 6 year hiatus.

And here's my prediction (Top5) for race # 2 of Tucson.
1) Derek Kraus
2) Cole Rouse
3) Derek Thorn
4) Trevor Huddleston
5) Hailie Deegan
Hershel McGriff will be 10th!

I'm feeling Hershel will be contending for a top 5 at the end of race
two. Race one will be more of a test session for him, then he'll open up
a can of whoopa$$

Wow, haven't seen Cassie in a long time. Glad to see her back! I love
seeing McGriff in McAnally equipment. That's going to be a blast for him
and for everyone else watching.

Deegan needs to do a lot more in the 2nd race tonight. Not showing

Iwuji didn't crash, fuel pump failure then missed half the race fixing
it. Came back out and finished the finished the race

#6 She has very limited experience in a stock car and through the first
three races is one of four drivers in the top-10 and on the lead lap in
every race. I'd say she's doing exactly what she's supposed to be doing
right now.

Just an update, Jesse Iwuji did not crash. He had a fuel pump fail, and
according to his Twitter, his team replaced it and he was running at the
finish.

Funny how the top 5 in points are separated by 9 points. And 6th and 7th
are close behind, and don't count out Will Rodgers, either. I am excited
to see what happens with the championship this year.

It was great to be back in the series and I am hoping to do more races
this year. I will continue to race my Super Late Model in Tucson. I was

Pernesiglio was the sole pit road reporter.

Hershel McGriff should be scored 18th and he received 26 points for the
18th place since he have scored 52 points in the championship (26 points
for 18th place in 1st Tucson race and 26 points for 18th place in 2nd
Tucson race) even though he didn't start the 2nd race.
