Yep, big fan of Hershel. He probably would have hung onto the tail end
of the lead lap too had he not had two flat tires during the race.

Patrick Long is pretty incredible. He was in a class of his own today
and, like Andrew Ranger, is beginning to prove he's not just a road racer.

Mayhew was the next best car but had horrible pit strategy. Five races
left on the schedule and Holmes really benefitted from Mayhew's bad day.
That #20 will be the favorite entering Roseville and Colorado, and it
won't surprise me to see them be the class of the field at Kalispell
since McAnally has really been supporting the race.

Nice run for Klauer in his first start. That made FIVE Bill McAnally
cars in the race; mega-team of the west. Wonder if NASCAR will ever
apply the cap rule there (probably not, since it adds cars to the series
:P ).

Mayhew only lost 10 points to Holmes in this race.

This was Patrick Long's 2nd career West Series win in just 5 starts
since 2009, 3 of which have come on road courses.

Points leader Eric Holmes got his series-leading 6th top ten in 7 races
this season.

Paulie Harraka got his 3rd top five in the last 4 races.

David Mayhew gets his first top 20 finish in the last 3 races, but his
5th top five ties Eric Holmes for the most this season.

Luis Martinez Jr. ties his best career finish with 5th, his 2nd top five
of the season.

Greg Pursley follows up his top ten at Iowa in the Trucks with his 4th
top ten in the West Series this season.

Stan Silva Jr. gets his 5th top ten in his last 7 starts dating back to
last season.
