Despite the fact these teams withdrew before qualifying, NASCAR
apparently counted Billy Kann, Brian Jackson, and Derek Ramstrom as DNQs
and gave them appropriate driver points to match.

Eric Holmes' 10th career West Series victory.

Last year's champion Jason Bowles made his first start of the year for
RCR/Golden Gate Racing Team, finishing 2nd. Bowles is also racing in
Nationwide this weekend, replacing Scott Riggs in the #09 RAB Racing car.

Jonathon Gomez finished a career-high 4th, his first top five.

Daryl Harr finished in the top 10 for the first time since 2008.

Taylor Barton and Michael Self also got career-best finishes in just
their 2nd and 4th starts respectively. 44 year old Stan Silva Jr.
finished a career-high 7th.

I watched this race on delay on speed. It was a pretty good race, I was
surprised. A lot of crashes, including earlier winner Paulie Harraka
crashing out. I still couldn't believe #26 Greg Pursley made it the
whole way with his car smoking heavily.

was the sole pit road reporter.
