C.T. Hellmund wins his Winston West debut.

Also the last Winston West race to date at Laguna Seca.

C.T. is also known as "Tavo" Hellmund, and is behind the current (as of
2011) effort to bring a F1 race to the Austin area.

That effort worked out, and now the track will host a NASCAR Cup Series
race, as well as the United States Grand Prix.
