TBS broadcast this race. Ken Squier and Phil Parsons were in the booth
with Chris Economaki and Jerry Garrett in the pits. Dave Despain was in
the STP Pit Communication Center.

This was a combination race with the Winston Cup Series.

Hershel McGriff clinches the Winston West title after Chad Little drops
out with engine failure after 53 laps.
