Ken Schrader, at the time an active Winston Cup Series driver, shows up
for his only career start in the NASCAR Northwest Series. He would start
on the pole and lead every lap on his way to victory. In the process, he
denies future crew chief Ernie Cope what could have been his only career
victory in the series.
