I find that hard to believe personally, and a local newspaper article recapping the race makes no mention of what would be a virtual dead-heat finish. It even goes as far as saying that Evans ?won with ease? and ?broke away? from second-place McGriff at the end. Wonder where and when the 0.0001 second mark originated...
