Ron Eaton and Derrike Cope were mentioned as notable entrants for this
race ahead of time, not sure why neither drive actually wound up
participating in the event. For Cope, coming off a big win in a
500-lapper at Evergreen the week before in Winston West competition,
this was the only Northwest tour race he missed in 1985.
