Derrike Cope wins his second race in a row. This was the Northwest
Tour's only visit to the State of California as they make a one-off
appearance at Shasta Speedway in the northern portion of the state.

This one was run the very same day as NASCAR's first-ever Winston
All-Star race across the country in Charlotte. Cope would go on to
compete in the that race himself in future years, qualifying for the big
show in 1990 and 1991.

5th caution - 26 accident

Chad Little was injured in a late crash here and missed nearly a month
while recovering.
