Kelly Moore claimed the pole with a time of 14.061 seconds.

There were two heat races. Mike Rowe won the first heat race,
uncontested. Jamie Aube held off Barney McRae to win the second heat race.

There were seven caution flags.

Caution 1: On lap 8, Kelly Moore spins after contact from Billy Clark.

Caution 2: About lap 20, Jamie Aube, Herb Simpson and Mike Weeden go
three-wide into turn three. It doesnâ??t work as they make contact.
Simpsonâ??s hood flies up and eventually off his No. 3 car, bringing out
the yellow. All three cars were in the top 10 at the time.

Caution 3: Joe Bessey and Ron Lamell get together, sending Bessey around
in turn four. Ken Bouchard also gets turned trying to avoid the spin.
Bessey is unhappy with Lamell and pulls beside him under caution.

Caution 4: Dick McCabe spins in turn four while running in the top five.

Caution 5: On lap 59, Barney McRae, Kelly Moore and Mike Olsen spin just
after the restart of the previous caution.

Caution 6: Bob Brunnell and Jay Currier make contact in turn four,
Bessey and Bruce Haley scatter to avoid.

Caution 7: Kelly Moore blows an engine in turn one, causing Joey
Kourafas and Ken Bouchard to skate up the track with Moore. Bessey goes
around in turn two.

Bob Healey finishes a career-best fifth in this race.

Craven scores his second career win in his remarkable rookie season.

Stub Fadden hit the pits on lap 119. He didnâ??t return. Moore also
failed to finish.

Mike Rowe dominated the race, but Ricky Craven was never far behind.
Rowe eventually used up his tires, allowing Craven to get a run
underneath Rowe and take the lead. Craven motored away from Rowe and
Rowe struggled to keep his runner-up spot over Mike Weeden and Dick McCabe.

Craven finished about 4.5 seconds ahead of Rowe, not four car lengths.
