Chuck Bown scores his second and last NASCAR North win of 1983. It was
the second of his three wins at Thunder Road.

Robbie Crouch finishes third. This was the only one of the seven NASCAR
North races at Thunder Road between July 1983 and August 1984 he did not
win.

Pontiac pulls the rare feat of a 1-2-3 finish with three different
models of car. Chuck Bown wins driving the only 6000 in the field, Wes
Rosner brings his Grand Am home second to score his best career North
Tour finish, and Robbie Crouch completes the podium in a Grand Prix.
With four more LeMans joining them in a top-10 it was a good day for the
Arrowhead brand.
