It's not often that a driver leads the first 253 laps of a race
scheduled for 250 laps and doesn't win, but that's what happened to Eric
Fransen here. On the final lap, Ron Breese Jr. moved Eric Fransen in
turn 2 and took the lead. But Steve Carlson would take home the victory
when he dove inside of Breese in turns 3 & 4 and got back to the stripe
first.

First caution - 4, 5, 97 accident turn 2
Second caution - 51 on fire frontstretch
Third caution - 17, 45 accident
Fourth caution - 26 spun
Fifth caution - 30 spun
Sixth caution - 11, 79, 99 accident
Seventh caution - 11 spun backstretch

Pole speed - 78.026 mph by Jon Lemke

Winnings:
Carlson - $4,890
Bowyer - $700
