This was ultimately the series' last race at this track. 2. RaceFanX posted: 11.26.2016 - 11:36 am Rate this comment: (0) (0) Wayne Anderson makes his final ASA start. The two-time and then-reigning NASCAR All Pro champion moved over to ASA full-time in 2002 but would leave the Grand American Race Cars' #89 Jani-King Chevrolet effort after this race. Anderson initially tried to stay in ASA with another team but ultimately moved back to All Pro to finish the season. Fellow Floridian Jason Boyd would take over the #86 for the rest of the year. 3. Butch Miller burned the competiton on the track as he picked up his second win of the season in just third start of the year. He made his move late, passing David Stremme's dominate car late, and once he got out front he pulled away for the win. This was a great recovery for Miller, whose Monte Carlo was collected in a crash with lapped traffic on lap 58. He still rallied back from 18th place to win once his car was repaired. Number Change: Butch Miller- #04 (just like all his other starts this season) ------------------------------------------------------------------------ *Post a comment:* Your comment may not appear immediately - all comments must be approved by the moderator.
