Though I guess ARCA is NASCAR now, lol. 8. DaveDavidson posted: 04.14.2019 - 8:23 pm Rate this comment: (0) (1) Called the race because of rain at 101 laps of 200. During the mavtv post race dry spots on the track began to appear. Not sure what's worse 5 cars finishing on the lead lap or the race taking 30 minutes to complete. Either way fans who attended got robbed! 9. Tarheel posted: 04.14.2019 - 8:23 pm Rate this comment: (0) (1) Only six drivers have started all three races and the points leader missed a race? I can't imagine he's in good enough shape for it 12. Eklund posted: 04.14.2019 - 10:04 pm Rate this comment: (0) (2) Self can win in the 25 but decker can't 13. TennesseeMountainMan posted: 04.14.2019 - 10:04 pm Rate this comment: (0) (1) And only 19 cars in the race. Only 15 running at the finish and Brad Smith still after 31 years in ARCA can't score a top 10 finish 14. rm posted: 04.14.2019 - 10:05 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) Darrell actually ran the whole thing, surprisingly. Really thought he'd pull in around lap 5 but nope. Not bad at all for a last minute entry. I don't think Mayer ever touched Gibbs when the 18 spun. Ty had been going backwards for a few laps before then. It started to rain again just before 4pm. At 2 hours to dry the track, it wasn't going to restart for a long time, and more storms were due to come around 5 or so. ARCA is NASCAR now. Has been for a year at Talladega in two weeks. Going to the rear was a big enough hurdle for Harrison Burton that he never managed to crack the top 5 in one of the best cars there. Obviously he did great with the circumstances, but that goes to show how tough Salem is. Additional to the rear - 69 - pitting before the green flag 15. DaveDavidson posted: 04.14.2019 - 10:27 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) Updated ARCA standings per ARCA website shows four of the top five in points have zero top five finishes. Natalie Decker left too soon this was her year! (Just kidding of course) 16. rm posted: 04.14.2019 - 10:51 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) I think now more than maybe ever in ARCA before the series is split between guys who will run all the short tracks only (and maybe Pocono) and guys who will run all the speedways only. Combine that with a shrinking field size and the full season championship looks like that. All that aside it's still competitive in the top 10. I'm not sure if anyone was going to catch Michael Self if it went 200 laps but Sam Mayer had a good chance. If he hadn't started back in 9th maybe he would have been up to 2nd place sooner. 17. Starting at Pensacola, the quarter panels have been promoting the product's availability at Menards...so what was originally here, "Extreme Kleaner / Menards" was correct. Consonus is still listed as a sponsor on all the official forms. Don't see why it shouldn't still be listed here. 21. Nowadays it'd be more sensible to run late models (either on asphalt or dirt) than put together a specialized car for one of these series. I don't see any of the three series lasting beyond 2021. 26. Although he did not race on Sunday, Eckes did receive 25 points for entering and participating in the event, and he remains eligible for the 250-point bonus for participating in each race in the first of four five-race segments in the 2019 season.
