Took the lead and lapped the field. Caution came out during green flag pits stops and Dalton got the free pass. Eckes had to pit for two tires late and Dalton won by a lap. Fast Track never put a car on the entry list, I'm not sure if Schrader or Hillenburg should be the listed owner on the 10. The other crew chief for Schrader's team, Matt Weber, posted on twitter that the 10 was "for another team" but it was prepared in the Schrader shop so it's probably good to be listed as Schrader's car. I'll find out for certain though. Don't think Dalton had the best car but he played strategy right and was able to snag a win. 10 car should be listed as Schrader as it was his car 5. Tearing up so many cars at Nashville is probably the reason for such a short field. 37 are on the Talladega entry list as of now, which is the same number as last year. That's a good sign, considering how many cars got destroyed at Daytona a couple of months ago. 12. Ak47 posted: 05.02.2017 - 7:39 am Rate this comment: (0) (0) @12 that's been the case for at least 5 years. I understand Sargeant and Lee for Cunningham, Theriault for Schrader, Dean for WinTron, Holmes for himself, Smith for Venturini, and Herbst for Gibbs are all going for the title. Weatherman I'm not sure, and Fike is doubtful. Either way, there are still 7 strong driver/team combos going for the title, which is actually an increase from the past few years. Smith and Herbst had to miss Daytona due to age, but they still got the entry points for that event so they shouldn't be too disadvantaged in the title race, as they're only 245 and 260 out of the lead, respectively. 14. rm posted: 05.02.2017 - 1:21 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) Smith can't start Talladega this week because he's 17. Herbst turned 18 just after Daytona and is good to go. Fike's supposed to run the full schedule but he's probably only a contender at Talladega and the dirt tracks - no offense to Fike, that's just how it is. I don't know if he had trouble this past weekend but I didn't expect him to run 11 laps down. Praytor and Brad Smith are also supposed to run the full schedule but they're limited by their equipment. Praytor tries and they run quite well for the operation they have. Smith's just trying to keep Hylton's stuff in one piece and just rides around at short tracks staying out of the way, but they did get a composite body car for the speedways I believe. Can't remember if Con was supposed to run the full schedule in the 0 or just the majority of the races, but we all know the story there. Weatherman only has half a season lined up. Last I heard he was only entered up until Talladega but not Toledo. If he can manage to run the full schedule he's one of the instant favorites to win the championship. 15. ARCA should be fine. 16. 23andJoe posted: 05.05.2017 - 4:17 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) Leaders based on the race report: Travis Miller 1-52; Christian Eckes 53-143; Dalton Sargeant 144-200 17. They're still showing a lot of 2016 stuff. Besides, the Nashville live telecast was very good. 20. rm posted: 05.19.2017 - 4:09 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) 10 crew chief - Matt Weber 21.
