Pretty clean race by ARCA standards. And believe it or not, the top lane of cars were able to catch the leader, who was running at the bottom. In the final laps, Bobby Gerhart was pulling that top lane to the front, and they were able to pass the leader John Wes Townley, but a shuffling of positions at the front in the final five laps eventually ended with Hessert out front, and he managed to take the win. 2. numbah10hatah posted: 05.03.2014 - 2:41 pm Rate this comment: (1) (0) Wayne Peterson cars actually finished a race???? 3. I'll never understand race fans who complain all the time. 5. Anonymous posted: 05.03.2014 - 3:09 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) #4, I didn't mean that as any kind of slam on the series. There was very little passing or action on the track for most of the event. That's a fact. 6. Welcome to ARCA... JWT was finishing top 5/top 10 with RAB so it's no surprise that he won with Venturini and it won't be a surprise if he wins again. 22. Munter is an animal rights activist who had previously run a car at the ARCA race at Daytona in Feb. 2012 with sponsorship from "The Cove", a movie that raised awareness to the dolphin cruelty and brutality in Taiji, Japan. 33. mikey25 posted: 09.19.2018 - 11:34 pm Rate this comment: (2) (0) That's how a restrictor plate race should be. No crazy wrecking, competitive, occasionally slow= but that's okay because nobody can just go at it nonstop for 200 straight miles, and a good finish at the end. It may not have been the best restrictor plate race in history but that's ARCA at its best right there. 34.
