He was hooked on the Long Pond Straight and got huge air, nearly flipping over. The incident is shown at the 3:30 mark of this video: https://youtu.be/iPYHTLNqWKg?list=WL&t=209 Despite being advised to sit out a couple weeks, Kimmel was back in victory lane just two weeks later at Springfield. 13. rm posted: 10.22.2019 - 12:10 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) 7 owner - Arne Henriksen 9 owner - Gillett Evernham Motorsports (Ray sold to George Gillett the summer prior) 14 owner - Andy Hillenburg 38 owner - John Fox 39 owner - Kory Rabenold 48 owner - Bill Venturini 01 sponsor - Germain Toyota 49 sponsor - Mopar Frank Kimmel suffered a concussion in his big accident and was relieved by nephew Will Kimmel the following week at Nashville just after the race started. 14. That site is dead now but despite the racy name (Fubar can be slang for F****d Up Beyond All Recognition) this was an all natural drink company; it also sponsored Johnny Sauter in a Cup race that more clearly spelled out its product. The Fubar brand later ended up on some beer bongs, claimed to be styled after a NASCAR gas can, but I think that was a different company. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ *Post a comment:* Your comment may not appear immediately - all comments must be approved by the moderator.
