Future ARCA champion Grant Enfinger makes his series debut...and has to
start and park after less than five laps. Better times would come his
way in the future...

Also making his first start, as mentioned, is Matt Hawkins, who wins the
race. The racing world would lose Matt to a firearms accident early the
next year. I have to wonder where he'd be right now if he was still
alive, would he be in the Cup series, or would he be another driver with
talent, but not funding?

Grant Enfinger's inauspicious series debut. He DNF'd all four starts he
made in 2008, having to wait until 2009 to complete a race. 7 years
later he would win a series championship and become one of the faces of
the series thanks to 16 wins (and counting).
