No clue why this took so long. Multiple cars pit right after this came out and then came back down again before they finally went back green.) Fourth caution - laps 77-79 - 19 spun frontstretch Fifth caution - laps 83-85 - 21 spun frontstretch Sixth caution - laps 89-91 - 46 accident turn 3 Seventh caution - laps 123-127 - 91 spun frontstretch Eight caution - laps 131-135 - 11 accident turn 3 5 crew chief - Billy Gerhart 21 crew chief - Mike Field (same for all 2004 ARCA races) 25 crew chief - Bill Venturini (same for all 2004 ARCA races) 65 crew chief - Dave Savicki To the rear - 5, 11 - Backup car (the broadcast told a humorous story of Bobby Gerhart, who was working with Hendrick on the 5 car all year, snuck into the garage to work on the backup) Evan Jackson in the 77 wrecked in qualifying and had to go to the hospital. He was ok but wound up being a DNS for the race. Vern Slagh was the oldest driver in the field as it was, but he wound up hanging it up after a hard hit on the first lap of the race here. Also, the Channel 5 205 took 2:05 to complete, of course! 6. JSPorts posted: 05.01.2017 - 6:18 pm Rate this comment: (1) (0) This was not a banner day for Frank Kimmel. Won the pole, led 21 laps, but crashed twice. However, after this race, he went on a string of 15 consecutive top 10 finishes, including 5 wins, to capture his 5th straight title. 7. This was his third and final top-10 on the tour and his only one in 2004. 9. Rich posted: 09.12.2020 - 12:07 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) Bob Dillner and Dan Pardus were the commentators.
