It would get worse, reigning Dash series champion Rodney Orr was killed in another Cup practice accident the day after this race. 5. I can't say for certain if Bob's car was an ex-Gordon car but it was certainly ex-Hendrick; Rick did enter a #46 with that same paint scheme the year before for Buddy Baker at Talladega that DNQed and it could have been that car. Mark Thompson suffered three cracked ribs, a concussion, and several bruises in his accident. 9. The crash as the field prepared to restart when Daytona 500 polesitter Loy Allen, Jr.'s #2 Ford broke a tie rod and banged the wall in turn 4 than came down into traffic. "Bobby Gerhart, who starts 13th in today's ARCA 200, was notified that excessive snow in the Lebanon, Pa., area caused the roof of his truck dealership to collapse at 5 a.m. Saturday.
