Tracy Leslie scores the season sweep at Talladega. Both of this wins in
1989 came at the Alabama plate strack.

This was the only one of Patty Moise's five ARCA starts where she didn't
start from the pole. Ironically she also finished better than all three
of her prior races where she was the polesitter.

Bob Studdard scores the only pole of his brief four-race ARCA career and
turns it into his only top-5 finish. This was the penultimate start of
his ARCA career.

23andJoe, where you do find the DNQ information?


Kosiski flipped after hitting the wall off Turn 2. Red Farmer and Grant
Adcox crashed trying to avoid him.

Jeff Purvis' ARCA debut, he always raced part-time in the series but
would have a fair bit of success doing so.

Amateur SCCA road racer Bob Studdard stuns the field by putting his
Chevy on the pole then translates his good run into a solid third-place
finish, his best in ARCA. This was his penultimate race in the series,
all of which came in 1989.
